Questions

Good things to ask before you book.

If your question isn’t here, the contact form reaches me directly.

What happens at my first visit?

Before we begin, you’ll complete a simple health + consent intake online. When you arrive we talk for a few minutes about what you want from the session, agree on pressure and any areas to focus on or avoid, and then I step out while you get on the table.

What should I wear?

For massage, undress to your level of comfort; you are draped the whole time. For private yoga, wear something comfortable you can move in.

How does draping work?

You’ll remain comfortably draped throughout your session, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Gluteal, genital, and breast areas remain covered. Draping is never changed without your clear consent.

How much pressure will you use?

The pressure you choose. We agree on it before we start, I check in during the session, and you can ask for more or less at any time.

What’s included in a session?

Everything listed with each service is included in the price. Nothing is sold separately. Flow, for example, includes light lymphatic techniques with elements such as dry brushing and an abdominal castor oil ritual.

What is Restore?

A personalized massage designed to help the body soften, release everyday tension, and settle into deeper rest.

What is Flow?

A gentle, rhythmic massage designed to encourage relaxation, lightness, and overall wellness. This soothing ritual incorporates gentle lymphatic techniques, dry brushing, warm towels, and a nourishing abdominal castor oil ritual for a deeply restorative experience.

Trauma-informed and wellness-focused. Not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

What is Ground?

An Ayurvedic-inspired massage ritual using warming, invigorating, and cooling herbs and oils, thoughtfully chosen to complement how you’re feeling that day. Slow, intentional bodywork and aromatic botanicals invite you to soften, settle, and return to yourself.

Inspired by Ayurvedic principles, this is a modern bodywork ritual, not a traditional Ayurvedic treatment.

Can I book a massage while pregnant?

Not at the moment. Prenatal massage is something I plan to offer once I’ve completed additional training, and I’ll add it here when it’s available.

Do I need to tip?

Gratuity is never expected. If you choose to leave one, it’s always appreciated.

Can children or teenagers book?

Sessions are for adults 18 and over.

What if I need to cancel?

Use the link in your confirmation e-mail. Studio appointments require 24 hours’ notice. The full details are on the policies page.

What if I am sick on the day?

Please reschedule. There is never a fee for illness. I’ll offer you the same courtesy.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Send a request on the gift cards page and I will arrange it with you personally within one business day.

How do I reach you?

Use the contact form, or reply to any e-mail from me.
